OUR LEADERSHIP TRAINING PROGRAMS

Becoming the Leader Everyone Wants to Follow

A leadership title may give someone authority.

It doesn't automatically make people want to follow them.

This program explores the behaviors that build trust, credibility, accountability, influence, and respect.

Participants examine their leadership style, communication habits, impact on others, and the difference between managing people and truly leading them.

Ideal For: New Managers • Supervisors • Emerging Leaders • Leadership Teams

Executive Presence: Lead With Confidence

How a leader enters a room, communicates an idea, handles pressure, and responds to difficult situations influences how others perceive their leadership.

This program helps participants strengthen confidence, professional presence, communication, credibility, and influence so they can show up more effectively in meetings, presentations, executive conversations, and everyday leadership situations.

Ideal For: Executives • Emerging Executives • Senior Leaders • High-Potential Employees

Communication That Gets Results

Great leadership depends on great communication.

Participants learn how to communicate expectations clearly, listen more effectively, deliver feedback, navigate challenging conversations, adapt communication styles, and reduce misunderstandings that can affect team performance.

Ideal For: All Leadership Levels

Difficult Conversations for Leaders

Avoiding a difficult conversation rarely makes the problem disappear.

This practical program helps leaders approach challenging conversations with greater confidence and professionalism.

Topics can include:

  • Performance Concerns
  • Employee Accountability
  • Workplace Conflict
  • Setting Boundaries
  • Delivering Constructive Feedback
  • Managing Emotional Conversations
  • Addressing Inappropriate Behavior
  • Communicating Expectations

Ideal For: Managers • Supervisors • Directors • HR & Leadership Teams

Emotional Intelligence for Leaders

Effective leadership begins with understanding yourself—and recognizing how your behavior affects others.

Participants explore self-awareness, emotional regulation, empathy, communication styles, interpersonal relationships, and social awareness to become more intentional leaders.

Ideal For: Managers • Executives • Emerging Leaders • Teams

Accountability Without Micromanagement

There's a significant difference between holding someone accountable and constantly managing every move they make.

This program helps leaders establish clear expectations, delegate effectively, create ownership, follow up appropriately, address missed expectations, and develop employees without becoming the team's bottleneck.

Ideal For: Managers • Supervisors • Department Leaders

Building High-Performing Teams

Successful teams require more than talented people.

They require trust, communication, clarity, accountability, collaboration, and effective leadership.

Participants explore strategies for strengthening team relationships, understanding different personalities, establishing expectations, improving collaboration, and creating an environment where people can perform at their best.

Ideal For: Leadership Teams • Departments • Cross-Functional Teams • Executive Teams

Leading Through Change

Change can create uncertainty, resistance, communication challenges, and declining engagement.

This program prepares leaders to guide employees through periods of growth, restructuring, organizational change, new leadership, changing expectations, and uncertainty while maintaining communication and team focus.

Ideal For: Executives • Managers • Organizations Experiencing Change

Strategic Thinking & Decision-Making

Leaders can't spend all their time reacting to today's problems.

This program helps participants step beyond daily operations and strengthen their ability to evaluate challenges, identify priorities, consider long-term consequences, recognize opportunities, and make more strategic decisions.

Ideal For: Executives • Directors • Senior Managers • Emerging Executives

Executive Meeting & Boardroom Playbook

Prepare leaders to confidently contribute in executive meetings, presentations, boardrooms, and other high-level professional environments.

Participants develop skills related to preparation, executive communication, professional presence, presenting ideas, influencing decisions, navigating challenging questions, and contributing strategically.

Ideal For: Executives • Directors • Emerging Executives • High-Potential Leaders

Networking That Gets Results

Networking should create relationships—not simply collect business cards.

This interactive program teaches participants how to approach professional networking strategically, communicate their value, start meaningful conversations, build relationships, follow up effectively, and turn professional connections into long-term opportunities.

Ideal For: Executives • Business Development Teams • Emerging Leaders • Professionals

NEW MANAGER LEADERSHIP PROGRAM

Great Employees Don't Automatically Become Great Managers.

Organizations frequently promote their strongest employees into management positions because they're excellent at their jobs.

Then they're suddenly expected to:

Lead people.

Delegate.

Give feedback.

Handle conflict.

Motivate employees.

Address poor performance.

Run meetings.

Hold people accountable.

Manage former peers.

And nobody ever taught them how.

Our New Manager Leadership Program helps close that gap by giving new and emerging managers the practical skills they need to successfully transition from doing the work to leading the people doing the work.

EMERGING LEADER PROGRAM

Build Tomorrow's Leaders Before You Need Them.

Your organization's future executives and managers may already be working for you.

Our Emerging Leader Program helps high-potential employees prepare for increasing levels of responsibility before they receive the title.

Development can focus on:

Leadership Confidence • Communication • Executive Presence • Emotional Intelligence • Strategic Thinking • Decision-Making • Accountability • Relationship Building • Professional Development

Organizations can create a customized emerging-leader series delivered over several weeks or months.

WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP

Develop confident women who are prepared to lead, communicate, influence, advocate for their ideas, navigate professional challenges, and pursue greater levels of responsibility.

Programs can explore:

Executive Presence

Confidence

Communication

Professional Visibility

Leadership Identity

Strategic Networking

Negotiation

Navigating Difficult Conversations

Career & Leadership Growth

Programs can be customized for corporate women's leadership initiatives, conferences, associations, professional organizations, and leadership development programs.

CUSTOM LEADERSHIP ACADEMIES

Don't Just Schedule a Training. Build a Leadership Pipeline.

Session 3 — Communication That Gets Results

Session 4 — Difficult Conversations

Case Study

From 6.7 to 8.3: When Better Leadership Changed the Employee Experience

The Challenge

Still Standing in Heels Consulting was brought in to support an organization experiencing growing challenges within its leadership team. Employee feedback showed frustration surrounding communication, accountability, conflict management, inconsistent leadership expectations, and a lack of connection between managers and their teams.

Before the engagement began, the organization surveyed employees and found that their overall workplace happiness score averaged just 6.7 out of 10. Leadership recognized that improving the employee experience required more than addressing individual concerns—it required strengthening the leaders responsible for shaping that experience every day.

Our Leadership Training Approach

Still Standing in Heels Consulting developed a customized leadership development training program centered around the organization's specific challenges. Training focused on five critical areas:

  • Leadership Communication — Helping managers communicate expectations, decisions, feedback, and organizational priorities more clearly.
  • Emotional Intelligence — Building greater self-awareness and helping leaders understand how their behaviors and reactions affect employees.
  • Conflict Resolution & Difficult Conversations — Giving managers practical strategies for addressing workplace conflict and performance concerns instead of avoiding them.
  • Accountability & Delegation — Helping leaders establish expectations, delegate effectively, and create accountability without micromanaging.
  • Employee Engagement & Team Building — Teaching managers how to create stronger relationships, recognize employees, encourage collaboration, and build a more connected workplace culture.

The training wasn't designed around hypothetical leadership situations. Managers worked through real workplace scenarios, communication challenges, leadership obstacles, and team dynamics they were experiencing within their organization.

The Results: 6.7 → 8.3 in Just 30 Days

Thirty days after completing the leadership training, the organization surveyed its employees again.

Overall employee happiness increased from 6.7/10 to 8.3/10—an improvement of approximately 24% in just 30 days.

Employees reported feeling more connected to their managers, experiencing clearer communication, and seeing noticeable changes in how leadership handled conversations and day-to-day interactions. Managers also reported feeling more confident addressing conflict, communicating expectations, delegating responsibilities, and having conversations they previously found difficult.

The organization didn't replace its leadership team.

It invested in developing them.

And within 30 days, employees were already reporting a noticeably different experience.

The Bigger Impact

This engagement demonstrated something organizations sometimes overlook: employee experience and leadership development are deeply connected.

When managers are given practical tools to communicate, listen, lead through conflict, create accountability, and develop their people, those changes can reach far beyond the individuals who attended the training.

Better-equipped leaders can create stronger teams. Stronger teams can create better workplaces.

30 Days. A 24% Increase. One Investment in Better Leadership.
